10 Excuses for a Bad Race

It is impossible to perform at your best in every race.

Sometimes your body does not respond as it should and a bad race is the result.

The day this happens, do not use these 10 excuses  for a bad race.

  

I’m getting sick.

  

I arrived late and I did not locate at correct starting corral.

  

I could not run well because the week before I missed a workout.

  

It was very hot / very cold.

  

I saved my energy for the final miles

  

The race was poorly organized.

  

I could not go to the bathroom.

  

I did not care much about this race, I took it as one more training.

  

I did not sleep well.

  

Breakfast upset my stomach.
