Hello, hello! I’m sure you’ve heard about #DalgonaChallenge and seen all the dalgona coffee recipes on the net.
It’s everywhere since actor Jung Il-Woo posted it on his net! But we know that not everyone drinks coffee, so I wanted to recreate a sparkling Matcha that turned out to be delicious.
How to make MATCHA DALGONA without sugar
Before we make our dalgona coffee.
What is matcha?
Matcha is made from pulverized green tea leaves.
This makes matcha tea much more powerful than regular green tea, since in a normal infusion (made from the strands of the leaf), only the soluble compounds are incorporated into the water, while in the pulverized leaf we ingest all the components.
And what are the benefits of matcha tea?
There are so many! Some of them are:
It reduces stress
Strengthens your immune system
Relax your body
Prevents infections and cavities
Control your hypertension
Lowers blood sugar and glucose
It’s a powerful antioxidant
Strengthens hair, skin and nails
Satisfies hunger and quenches thirst
Now that we know how good matcha can be for you, let’s see how to prepare this delicious Matcha Latte Dalgona.

2 teaspoons matcha powder
2 tablespoons hot water
